TOPIC: Upload report from pc to mobile

I would like to be able to move a report from pc to mobile. I like to start inspection on the pc at home inputting basic information, data plate ect. I also keep a saved report called starter template with all common comments in report such as , description of all components of home, recall chek info blanks moved to right side. When I start a new inspection I use this inspection template already filled in with a lot of common info.

How do you enter data plate information at home before you go to the job site?

For 60% of inspections we set radon monitors prior to inspection and take 50-60 photos while on site. This allows us to have most of the report done when we arrive for the final inspection. It also doesn't make sense that we need to move Recall Ck info fields from left to right for every inspection, we should be able to already have them on the right to save clicks. There is a lot of info that if saved on the right side fields in the template could save a lot of clicks.

If you're using the mobile version of the software there is no left/right though. You'd need to edit the comment to select the exact recall info you want.

I see what you're saying about taking pics on site. That's a bit different than doing things before you get there. You could definitely take those photos directly with the mobile version of the software using the fast slotter on the main list of sections. That way they're already on your mobile device for the real inspection. You could also merge that data later.

We are working on a way to send inspections to mobile but it's going to take some time as it's quite complicated due to all the info that has to be uploaded.

If you take photos on the main list of sections (click Camera icon) they aren't added to the report by default. If you double tap the image thumbnail you'll get a popup that lets you put the photo wherever you want it.
