Was wondering if you could add more generic variables (named $Generic1, etc) to be used by the inspector however they feel. Currently I would like to document more items like specific MLS information and/or permit information.
These would not be note like items maybe 10 characters at the max. |

Is there a reason you'd rather see this on the client info page rather than a Site Information page within the actual template?

There is a Site information page? The only place that I can find to enter variables is on the Client Information form. I just want to have some more variables that I can use in the document pages. So people that like to use first name salutations could just type in the name.
I would like to add more information about the house, like attached or detached. It would allow me to have a variable for additional fees, like lab costs. I could have a variable for Report Number so it could be displayed on every page like the footer or header. If by Site Information page you mean a selection panel, then no, because the selection panel is very limited in visual layout compared to created the HTML layout. If you could make it so the data from a selection panel have more layout control like using HTML (entering data in a table layout for formsting or even just right/left/center justified and controlled line breaks , then yes yes yes. Right now, I think adding extra variables would be easier. |
