TOPIC: Office Reports ?

No add-ons?  What about Recall Check, ISN and HON?  Those are add-ons.  It sends select information to outside companies.  I just want the option to send or in my instance, print,  information I select for myself, not some outside firm.

PS.  Is there any way to get a copy of the program that does not have the Recall Check, ISN or HON built in to the program?

We don't CHARGE for Add-ons is what I was saying (as Scott said he'd pay for them). Not that we wouldn't integrate it

Why would you want a copy without the integrations? What's the difference?

Stephen ,your client info is not being farmed unless you allow it.

Scott I am with you on the whole needing to pay outside services as once you are in lost control and are locked in paying forever.
I prefer to control my own data as well and not have it held hostage based on if I continue to pay.

I'm sure ISN does save time and money for some folks, but I'm a pretty simple operation. I like to talk to folks on the phone, take their information and do the inspection.  I will only do about 250 inspections a year,  I tend to inspect larger homes with higher fees so I do fewer homes than many inspectors..  It's not just about saving $4 per inspection, it's about convenience, simplicity and more of the personal touch over having clients log all of their information into a website.  I don't need maps, I use a GPS which also tracks my mileage and downloads to an Excel file...  I don't solicit agents so I don't need to track them... I don't have multiple inspectors so I don't need to see others schedules.... ? But since I have an open mind ,  I'll let you show me at IW next week... ?

For QuickBooks exporting I would think that you would need the dollar amount for the inspection, method of payment, clients name, date of inspection and address of inspection.  This would allow QuickBooks to log it as a sale.

Why not create a client log similar to the real estate agent log? ? Name, contact information, address of inspection, date of inspection, price, agent, etc... Seems like this would be fairly easy....

Scott, it is the VERY RARE occasion that a client goes to the ISN and orders an inspection. I have had the ISN for four years and maybe 8-10 people have done an automated order. I am always stuck with the data entry. The ISN does produce some great reports though, along with the confirmations and reminders.

I am now looking into this www.supersaas.com/ as a scheduler which will export reports also.

Drew, I thought that would be the case for the most.? ? I have spoken with several inspectors from all over the country who have online scheduling and they all say about the same thing. I'll just have to work on Dominic at www.inspectionworld.com in when I see him Sunday. ? I'll have a few days to persuade him that he needs to help us folks out who do not want to pay for ISN. ?  ;D
