TOPIC: Merging Inspections

Would it be possible to have the Import/Merge another inspection tab ask you if you want to merge an inspection that has the same name as one previously merged.

I've merged the same inspection into the same report a few times, and I have to delete the duplicate comments. I notate all my pics first so I never want to do them again and start over.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. If you merge an inspection from the same template it will not add comments that already exist into the left side of red/black or into a selection panel. Or are you referring to the right side of the red/black?

Yes, when I go to merge my inspection with my base template and my employees inspection I have merged mine twice. So all my selected comments show up twice.

Oh you mean by mistake you merged yours twice?

Yes, it would be nice to have an idiot proofing question like on the multiple delete.

Something like "Hey nitwit, do you realize you have already merged that template?"

LOL. Okay let me think about this. I need to figure out a way to track that so it warns you but still allows it if you override.
