TOPIC: 3.0 Beta trial talk

Got a chance to play around with the sketch feature this morning.  Seems pretty buggy right now...I'm sure it will get better with age just like a fine wine. 

Let me say a HUGE thanks for adding this feature (something I've needed/wanted from day one). 

how are you going to use it?

Many of my commercial clients request or require sketches of buildings highlighting the portion of the building scanned and corresponding with the IR image(s)... while others want the sketches highlighted for location of noted exceptions  (and often both).  Right now, I see it still easier to use Publisher and Word for my sketches, but to have the option in HIP is a really nice feature now!
I can see benefits with normal PCR's as well, and on occasion a residential inspection or IR survey.




By the way... you have me researching moles today... 

Here's another example of how I incorporate sketches into my reports...

I would use for WDI attachments in addition to my house sketches I use from the auditors websites.

thanks, I always want to keep up with your ideas you come up with some good ones!

My PDF program scales the photograph to a known distance and I use a satellite or one that I took and mark that up.

This will take much less time for the smaller projects.

I assume some of the components (that are at the bottom)that don't work may be for future add-ons?
