I switched to HIP in August of ‘21 after using a competitor’s software for about 5 years. The difference has been dramatic. HIP’s program is intuitive, easy to use, and completely customizable. The programs features are better than any other program I’ve tried. Finally, and the thing that sets HIP apart from any other inspection software program, is the company and their attention to customer service.

I am a 5 year Inspect IT user who recently had to switch software to write reports. After some awesome help from the team at HIP I was up and running. The software they have designed is really amazing. From captioning photos to building a summary that is interactive I couldn’t be happier. And the glossary is very cool. If you are trying this out, give it a few days. It takes a while to learn any new software no matter what it is but it’ll be worth it.

As a professional home inspector, I don’t have time to mess around with software that I have to fight with. I need my inspection software to just work, in a seamless way that doesn’t get in the way of the way I work. HIP does all of this and more. I have used HIP for going on 6 years now and have had nothing but a great experience with it. The rolling updates that come out ever so often, from actual inspectors that find a need, makes this software one of the best. Tech support is second to none as well. No matter what the issue was, Dominic and his team was always able to get it fixed. 99.9% of the time, it was user error and not an issue with HIP. I will continue to recommend HIP to all inspectors whether new or old. Keep up the great work guys!!

I currently switched from inspectIT to HIP / Office part as well . And I will say it is a learning curve like every new software change will be , the part that sets HIP aside is the support, they are always there to help out . Learning a new software we have many questions and frequently. They helped every step , it wasn’t as difficult as I made it out to be . Change is always hard . My reports and everything look so much better, and if I’m stumped I just call . I’m glad I made the change! Thank you Home inspector pro !

As a Certified Master Inspector who has completed over 3000 inspections, I would have to recommend this software to ALL home inspectors. I have been using HIP for over five years. I’ve tried other report-writing software, but none compare to HIP. HIP is very versatile and comprehensive. The features on it are incomparable. For example, when inspecting apartment complexes, the inspector can copy sections such as bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.; this makes the job WAY easier. The prices are unbeatable too, but the kicker is the support staff. Travis, Jason, Emily, Dom, and the rest are a treasure house of knowledge, very courteous, and lightning-fastprompt. If you’re not using HIP, for sure you haven’t tried the best.
