TOPIC: uploading photos to my image gallery

I am just getting started with my web site and need to put some inspection photos in the image galley. I went to the tutorials and found out how to add photos in with the content of my other pages which worked great. I might be missing something but it doesn't show how to put your photos in the image gallery. HELP!

Should the pictures be that big? They seem to overlap the sidebar links. Also, I had edited the pics with text and arrows that do not seem to show well.

You need to resize the photos before uploading them. The original The program makes sure they aren't more than 500 pixels, but it's a rough shrinking down. You should use a program like photoscape (free) to edit them and shrink them to 400 pixels wide for your theme. Other themes could do up to 500, it depends.

I will re size. What about the text and arrows I added with the paint program? Some pics have the text and arrows for adding to your report. They do not show up well, do you recommend not having text and arrows? I just DL'd the photoscape program, will that work better than paint as far as text showing up?
