Ian & Bert - What is all of that information at the bottom of your replies that lists your name, services, etc.?

That is the business information that I (we) like others to be able to see.  If you want to put a link of my site on yours, that is the sort of information you could include.  You should add your company name and website at the very least, to your signature as well.
Click on your name in the forum.  On the left side of the resulting page there are a few headings; one is Modify Profile.  Click on Forum Profile Information This brings you to a page where you can enter the information in your signature.  There are other options on this page as well.

Thanks Dom. Randy, that info in our signatures is picked up by search engines and helps the SEO for OUR sites, as well as this one I think. I know that when I google for my area, my site is #1, and usually on page 1 as well, is a link to a comment or thread by me made here. So, I make it onto page 1 twice. Do like Bert suggested, and get yourself a signature line set up.

Ian - I'm sorry, but you lost me.  When it comes to keywords, meta tags, SEO, etc., I just don't understand.  I have tried doing this.  A time or two, I came up on Google's second page, but that didn 't last very long.  Sometimes, I can't even find my website at all.  Once again, I've fallen into the frustrated category.

Randy click on Profile up above then signature to add this info. The guys also use it to exchange links with each other. If you look under the Tutorial section here in the message board there's a step by step tutorial on how to exchange links with other inspectors.

It does Bert, once you are in  your blog. When you hit next, it will be the one you wrote just before the one you are looking at. In the menu  though, they appear alphabetically, unless you have changed the weights on them.
