TOPIC: Navigation Menu

Hey guys? On this page, I a m having a problem with the navigation menu. www.squareonehomeinspection.com/wi-home-...-progress-day-4.html

I want everythin under the new build to be clickable from right here. I don't want a page to be a sub page of a previous page, but still stay in order of the build. Things were going along fine until my last entry. It will not stay in order, I have changed the weights etc. So, for now, I just set it as a sub page of  day 4. But, I would like to keep them all subpages of the original page, know what I mean? Any help? I would like these to stay in chronological order as well.

You didn't have any weights set. I just changed them from -10 down to -5. But you'll run out if you have over 20 pages. The best bet is to add a number to the beginning as items with the same weight go in alpha order.

Thanks Dom, this should definitely get over 20 pages, so the numbers should work good. do I add that to the Title of the page then?

Yes in the beginning. Day 01 (note the 2 digits will give you up to 99 entries before ordering will become incorrect).

It could be smart to use day-001.html or 05-18-2009.html, as examples. Then you wouldn't be limiting yourself to 99 entries.

Yup, Mike's right. If you're planning on going over 99 days up it to 3 digits.
