Which site are you adding it to? Make sure you've uploaded all the images to the right folder (i.e. Slideshow1) then just enable the block under blocks and set it to appear on the page you want it to appear on.

Ok, I added two slideshows to my front page, and it works... almost.

The pictures I loaded into slideshow 2 are showing up in slideshow 1. I checked 5 times to make sure that they were in the correct folder, but it still shows up that way.

Slideshow 2, although the box with the progress bar shows up in the right spot, the progress bar keeps going, but not pictures load.

Oh, you can only have one slideshow going per page. This is due to a script variable collision. It also explains why your slideshow 2 pics are showing up in 1. Remove the 2nd slideshow and move it to another page.

When we choose the panel we want, I picked the 2 column stacked, we only have to do the Title page and URL and description just once right? Not for every image? What is CSS ID

If you choose to use a Panel (you can just use the slideshow block that's auto created instead), then yes, you only need the items you listed, and it's for the page not the slideshow so you only need it once. Ignore the CSS ID, you're not using it.
