Drew, just curious. What would you be using the 3 damage panels for? |

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

About two years ago I had a copy of 3-D Home Inspection software that I ran with a PDA. It was fast but very pricey. I am trying to format a template to see if I can imitate the way 3-D made a report. HIP gives you a lot of information for the report, I am trying to organize it to speed up inspection time. The three damage panels on a page eliminates a tab if I can put related items on the same page. If I could eliminate a step (or tab) several times in the inspection, I might be able to speed things up. The 3-D style template that I am trying to make is closer to the style of the Texas or the Canadian Template, less menu folders and more sections.

Drew, what resolution is your monitor at?
Stephen , in the original template we had a few 3 damage panel tabs for the same reason Drew Mentioned. One was Sink, Garbage Disposal, Hot Water or Filtering. We just merged them though as in reality your rarely going to comment on all 3. This is the situation where doing what you and others have suggested. Have a Sink damage panel and separate out the comments with a blank comment or one with a few *********. Keeps the report shorter and more to the point. |

Dom, 1280 x 800 pixels. Since you said that I booted in safe mode and did the video display troubleshooter. My laptop screen has been flickering lately. Why did you ask, did you notice something? ???

I asked because you'll need at least 800 high to see all 3 damage panels if I adjust that feature.
