I put what ever info I can into the customer info area (except c/c info, I don't keep anyone's c/c info anywhere) 

As far as pricing is concerned, I have it set up for all the different pricing I use, pull up the list and bam... If I want to use a discount I go to the next line and pull up the same list and I have all my discounts there.  I even have it set up for mileage.  I just enter the number of miles and it figures out how much its suppose to be.

I have ran into one problem though,  If I have multiple prices (multiple lines) and I need have a discount, I must put the discount after each line item.  I can't just do one discount for the entire invoice.

IE

Inspection............  $200
10% discount........  -$20
IR Inspection........  $300
10% Discount.......  -$30

Total..................  $450


Also I don't use anything except the invoices.  There are four parts to it I could use if I wanted.  Estimates, Invoices, Payments, and Receipts.

I am using Peachtree Accounting and I use it to track all of my income and expences, once it's set up and maintained all I have to do at the end of the year is burn a backup disc and give it to my accountant.

Why are you doing all the work for your accountant?  Do you know more than they do?  That's what they get paid for. 

Yeah but you pay them LESS if you do more yourself!
