TOPIC: Idea for Mobile users... and maybe desktop too

I'm continuing to transition my template to be more mobile friendly and just reducing or generalizing comments as much as possible without hurting the clarity of the final reports. 

During this process, it occurred to me that it would be helpful to have a small indicator on my comments to designate which ones do or do not have drop down lists. This is especially true in the mobile version, so as I take note in the field I am not unnecessarily opening my comments to make sure I'm not missing any lists. The same would be true back at the office.

I already use the NOTE feature at the beginning of each comment to simplify searching, so now I am going through and adding an asterisk after each comment title for those comments which have no lists and require no additional attention.

  Improper Grading     The exterior grading at the<<LOCATION>> is improperly sloped towards...
  Flat Grading*           The exterior grading is flat in some areas...
  Trees Too Close*     Trees are located too close the structure...

I'm using my new Ipad Mini this week so I'll see if this helps some; every click or tap matters. Can't wait to get the mobile version with the new list feature, but this has been a good "house cleaning" excercise of my comments to help streamline inspecting and reporting.

Cameron...the one thing you and I do the same with NOTE is putting a space before and after the  .  It help's in making it POP.

Yes, I noticed that too. Without the space it can still run together and your eyes don't quite track as easily. It's a really nice feature and it's definitely one I use a lot.

The new mobile version color codes NOTES to make those pop as well.

I like the color code idea, however,  I haven't transitioned to mobile.  I'll also use blank lines in some damage panels in order to group comments, or something like;
********************Wood Shingle roofing**********************

How does the color code for the notes work Dom? Can you just color the note itself?
