TOPIC: Wind Mit template?

Re: Wind Mit template? 11 years 4 months ago #54135

I don't understand what you mean by removing the boxes? Let's just drop this part of the changes, can you make the check font bigger?

Thanks
Steve

I think so. I'll take a look at it.

Thanks Dominic.  I think you are underestimating the demand for wind mit forms.  Almost every home sold in FL will need one.  And after that, they need one every 5 years.  That's almost every home in FL needing a wind mit every 5 years, even if it's not sold, and at closing if it is sold.

The problem with the mobile program is it's difficult to use for several reasons.  Not to mention, you have to constantly toggle between forms if you're also doing a home inspection at the same time.

It should be integrated into the home inspection program, just as the pool and earthquake forms are.  That would eliminate the double entry of data.

Also, the date entry method is tedious, and drop down fields would work much better over the current method of making a data selection, such as the horizontal scroll bar.  It's all about time being money.

The problem is that pool template is just another template made with the Edit Template feature. Building the app already took tens of thousands of dollars to create and the usage will take quite awhile to make the money back. Spending a few hundred more hours on adding it to HIP when we get compliments on how easy the mobile version is becomes hard to justify. The mobile version does become easier all the time though, we've release 2 updates this week alone. Try it on a little larger device like the Note 2 or Galaxy 8 and you'll see a big difference.
