TOPIC: Contract Page Including Signature and Date in Document Section

Hello everyone my name is Steve and this is my first post.

First I appreciate all the previous post from everyone, they have helped me in forming my own template and aided in not having to ask to many questions. Now I am fine tuning the template and have a question.

My question; is it possible to have the contract page used in the template to include the signature and date like it dose when printed from the separate button (separate from the report). I have not developed a program in getting the contract signed prior to the inspection, but feel the need to  :-[; any suggestions about how to do this would be helpful.

Welcome to the site.

You have to get the contract signed prior to doing your inspection (and the report) or it's not legally valid. Because of this the most you should do is include a copy of the contract with the report as a normal document and mark it as a COPY ,make this obvious, and state that the original contract has already been signed.

You can email the contract off in advance and tell your client to bring it with them to the inspection, or if you have a site with us you can have the client sign the contract digitally online.

Yes, I will e-mail the contract prior to the inspection. Can the date next to my signiture fill in automatically also?

Hi Steven,

If you use the electronic signature under Report Settings then the date will fill in automatically. If you're not using it and you're printing it then it doesn't fill in the date as there's no way to know when you actually sign it.

Yes,. I use the automatic signature in the contract, but the date at the bottom of the page next to the signature will not show up  ???.
