I've seen other inspectors bring up the program on other boards. I don't think there's much out there for this form. Something we'll tackle later on and include for free

Just a couple of points I'd like to bring to table.
1. The HUD 203(k) loan program is probably different from the inspections this forum topic has been referring to. IE HUD form 92051 is NOT used in the 203(k) inspection process. Form HUD 9746-A is. 2. You may want to look at this: http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/203k/203kabou.cfm knowledge is the key to greatness. 3. This link will give a good idea of what is expected from a Registered HUD 203(k) Consultant. I am a registered HUD 203(k) Consultant. This is different from a FHA inspector. 4. Regarding the software. The format is very appealing to the Banks, Lenders and Buyers that have seen it. A standardized format is something they have wanted. 5. $600 bucks for a tool that was made back plus $375 on my FIRST inspection. 6. Luck has NOTHING to do with having the right set of tools to perform your job in professional manner. |
