Hey Steve,

Yes, I'm looking for statements or descriptions of conditions to add. If you look through all the threads here in this board you will see the areas that I'm looking for comments in.

That's awesome that you have your report time down. A lot better than the 3 days it took you with your previous program, hehe.

By the way,  I didn't get your message last night until early this morning. Something is screwed up with my cell where it's not ringing and things are going directly to voicemail. I need to take it in and get it replaced or fixed. Make sure to email me or at least call on the 888 number as I get an email with all voicemail left that way.

Just contribute your narratives in the threads below this one. I'll put it together in a Wiki when I get a chance.

Nick Gromicko of NACHI has thrown down the gauntlet (as Russ Spriggs put it) challenging the software vendors to come up with a template for their new commercial sop. A good commercial template is something we need in the program anyways. I will be putting the skeleton of the template together tonight and tomorrow. I need your guys help though to fill in the template with narratives. Obviously everyone will get a copy of the template when we're done so this is to benefit all Home Inspector Pro users.

I will be creating a thread (topic) on each section of the SOP in this board. Please post any narratives that you can think of within the particular thread. Please do not copy narratives from other software programs. Obviously there are only so many ways to write certain comments so if you got it from some place else originally, make sure to try to rewrite it.

Dale Duffy has also sent me an outline of the commercial template he uses. So once the NACHI one is finished I can use the same narratives and put them into his template giving HIP (Home Inspector Pro) users even more of an option.

I would tell Club-Nick to stick his commercial template where the sun don't shine if I was a software developer--;))

LOL. Hey Dale! I'm still looking forwards to yours! I have the first you sent me, I should probably go back and look at it. There's already two included with HIP now, one has intro's by Russ Spriggs and Joe Farsetta that includes some ASTM comments. Nick's helped us out in quite a few ways though providing an easy to follow layout for the commercial and mold template. The ASTM standards are harder create a template from.
