TOPIC: This Roof's For You

There are squatters everywhere around here.  If a store goes bad and closes in a strip mall, they move in.  The police cannot keep track of them all.  I have gone into houses to do an inspection, and there was fresh food on the kitchen counter and blankets and pillows all over the house.  The back door is sometimes wide open.  They must have seen me coming and left quickly.  After the inspection, they must go right back in.

Must be all the rich Virginian heritage that keeps them all there! lol

No, it's the sanctuary areas.  One by one they are wising up and no longer being "sanctuary" areas - like Herndon VA.  Up until that time the problems they experience are very bad.

They've come up here now.Just wish they left their luggage behind. Only time will tell.

I don't know what he paid for the house.  All I know is my fee.  He was comfortable with what he was going to do - gut it essentially and make it into a new house.  As a remodeling professional, he has the wherewithal to do that.

Typically I don't take pictures during an inspection.  What I do take, it is only for other purposes - sharing them with message boards or putting them on my website.

If my report says, "Receptacle under the living room window is broken," what more would a picture add?
