Nice info Tim, so Adrian di that satisfy the 18" rule. It just doesn't look like it does from that angle, might be my eys though.

At this point I cant tell for certain.  I would have to go back and measure with a tape measure.  I'm guesstimating that it does.  If you account for the step up into the closet, plus the bricks, plus the height of the element inside the tank, I think it would.  But the only way to be sure is to go back and measure.   :-\

I'll know the next time I come across this!
