Well said Cameron,

However, if I sit down with Obama, I'm going to need a Manhattan. And did you hear, Blago's house went on the market for 1.07 million today! Description is, "Built like a Fortress". And You and I paid for that 2nd defense trial! But love him or hate him...I think Blago would be fun to have a beer with.

I did an inspection on a home; no gutters, garage slab pitched towards the home, basement sump with 1" discharge line rig'd up dumping next to the foundation, no battery backup..past water stains on basement walls, and the grounds around the house pitched towards the structure.  The client buys the home; takes none of the recommendations to contact a plumber the fix the sump; doesnt get a roofer to install gutters; doesnt contact a landscaper to fix the grade; and doesnt talk to a contractor for a solution the drive/garage which are pitched towards the house...the list went on!  Guess what?...they got water in the basement. They were mad because they figured since there was no issue with water the first 6 months after they moved in, they would be fine.

When you use a moisture meter at bulkheads, remember that the contractors might have used metal corners and mudded over them. This will give false readings, same thing with commercial doors and windows.
