TOPIC: CMC Energy Tune-ups

Anyone currently certified thru CMC to do Energy Tune-up Inspections? Would like your opinion of the program...successful, not? Challenges? Thanks.

Thanks for the post--you've read my mind.  I've checked into the training (online look only) and wonder if it would fill the bill for CA--I'd like yet another avenue.  I'm curious too.  Sound off gang!

I am CMC certified, about a year now.  They are great.  They also have a terrific support staff.

Just a couple of days ago Steve Luxton, of CMC, was in USA Today with a consumer challenge. 

They are the oldest energy advocacy company, in business since just after the Arab oil embargo.  They improve their product all the time.  They have made me a lot of money.  James Quarello, in Connecticut, did over 100 energy inspections just last year.  I am not that good yet.  Check with him - he is a big proponent.

I consider it another arrow in my quiver of services I offer for my clients.

That's what I was hoping to hear. I've been working with Steve Luxton on coming to Tampa for training. Currently have enough for a class, most will work under my company tag...even have a guy with a sales/marketing background to 'sell' the inspections.
Does CMC offer any kind of advertising (coop) using flyers, email etc? Or is it up to you to create 100% of the marketing material? You said they have a strong support staff...example?
How have you marketed the program?
