TOPIC: Inspection fee question

Did the job. Based on the input I got from you guys, I priced it as 1/2 of inspection for outside and utilities ($150.00) and $100 a door. The buyers were fine with that. It was a long day, but I am very happy with the money I made. Thanks everyone.

Richard, are saying 950? 8 units x 100 plus the 150?
Jeff, your 780.00 would be close to 10 cents a foot which would be right around what would fly in these parts.

How long did the inspection + report take you?

That's right. Did the inspection for 950. Dom, I did the exterior and common utilities as one report. Then found it easy enough to do separate report for each of the 8 units. I started walking the exterior at 7:30 am with the building manager showing up at 8:30 to give me access. At 1:30 I was done with the rough report input and all the photos. Went to a Starbucks and camped out  massaging report and inserting photos until just after 5 when I emailed all 9 reports to the buyers agent.

Everybody is happy and I picked up the listing agent as a new client.
