TOPIC: Black Algae

Jay, in other words tack on a winning team in my case, names like, Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs,etc. What team would you have to tack on? Virginia aah , well aah, oh yeh Ralph Sampson did play BB for the UV many years ago. Does Virginia have football? LOL. I think I know what you/re gonna say couz, heehe. 

Joe -- We made our annual visit to practice yesterday.  Had a lot of fun!  That's the new QB, Donovan Something or other.

Isn't that something about Haynesworth not being able to practice since he can't pass the physical. Talk about take the money and run. Well actually he can't run, he's so out of shape. A millionare athlete that can't stay in shape to pass the physical required by his profession. What a waste.
Hope McNabb can resurrect his career. Have always enjoyed watching him. Can you tell I,m excited about football starting up. I can feel it in the air. We'll have to have some gentleman's bet's this year when the Cowboys and Deadskins play.  ;D
Jay, didn't Sampson graduate UV in about '80? You old timer, you were there before him?

So what is the preseason prediction for the Redskins?

I am a Browns fan and we are hoping for a 8-8 season. Teams been really lousy since they moved and came back. 11 years, 3 coaches, owners.

Joe - Deadskins?  This coming from a fan whose team has won one playoff game in the last generation?  A WHOLE generation of football fans saw the Cowboys win a play off game (one big one...) for the first time in their lives last year!  You're right, Haynesworth is a pathetic joke.  And I am a realist - not counting on McNabb at all.  They ran 25 scrimmage plays yesterday, 5 per QB.  McNabb fumbled 2 snaps!  Not good!  I graduated college in '75.  Well, good luck with the Cowgirls!  Oh, yes, my daughter is the piano player.  She is trying to learn my favorite song, "Let It Be."  She is 13 and complaining that whoever wrote that song, "Must have really big hands!"  Probably true!

Dave - as to LeBron - ouch!  I have not seen any pre-season predictions, but don't put any stock in them anyway.  Too many variables to be able to predict anything.  My personal prediction - 7-9.  Cleveland has had a bad run as a sports town for a number of years!  I feel for you too. 

Oh, I hit a nerve w/ the Jayster. (heehee). Jay, the Cowboys have only won one playoff game in the last generation you say? Isn't a generation 20 yearsish, so what about the 3 superbowls they won in the early to mid 90's. Overall they have won more NFC east division titles than others by far in the division and are second only to the Steelers in super bowl wins. Can you spell A-m-e-r-i-c-a-s  T-e-a-m ?
