I did an inspection once where some guy went through the entire townhouse development installing "ridge vents." He did more than half the houses in the neighborhood. In the one I inspected, he had just nailed it to the top of the roof, no venting provided! What a scam.

Maybe he moved to Ontario, reincarnated as a builder, and is pulling the same stunts there!
