I just received this information from Jay:
After further review from the website you will not be notified but using the actual link to PayFuse itself you will be notified 14 days before the password expires. If you are getting declines like yesterday go to the actual PayFuse site to verify that the password expired and then change if prompted. Here are the password guidelines: Listed below are the new password requirements. Customers are welcome to abide by these new security policies at any time. However, these security policies will be fully enforced starting on August 21, 2006. -New users must reset the initial password. -A user must change the password once it is reset by an administrator. -Passwords expire every 90 days; users will be reminded of a password change 14 days prior to the password expiration date. -Users will be disabled after ninety (90) days of inactivity. -Minimum password length is eight ( characters. -Minimum of at least one (1) uppercase character. -Minimum of at least one (1) lowercase character. -Minimum of at least one (1) numeric character. -Cannot use the last 4 passwords used in the past 360 days. -Restricted identifiers are not allowed (consisting of company name, Client ID, Alias, user name, or account description). -The password and password hint cannot be the same value. Hopefully this will prevent future issues. |
