So, Dennis, the NPP changes during the day because of temperature changes around the house which causes air to move toward the cool?

I found at my class that every Certified rating you have to pay $50 to RESNET for their quality assurance program. I have not even began the check with insurance. By the time I pay for tools and the time involved in doing a rating I will need to charge around $500 per audit to make any money.

Has anyone every worked with the Remrate software?

Once I complete the test I am only half done with the course.

I think Charley Bottger is using their software. He collects the data then dumps it into a HIP documents, inserts photos and prints.

it might be interesting to see, Dave are you using IR

Not yet.

I had a flir rep. out to demonstrate and I took an intro on line course and I have another online Building Science/IR course to take. Once I finish this I was planning on getting level 1 certified.

One thing I know is having a proper Delta T is important.
