TOPIC: Insurance Adjusters

I was talking with an insurance adjuster the other day while he was looking at my roof and decided to send off for the study material to get my license.  Do any of you do this line of work?  I thought this would be a great way to fill up my down time.  The licensing cost seems like it is minimal, we already have the inspection background, and it seems they make fairly decent money.

From a marketing standpoint, it would make us appear that much more credible to our customers and Realtors if we have both titles under our belt.

I guess that will not help me. I am on Wisconsin's license department website and it appears they do not require a license. I think I will send an e-mail or call to confirm.  Thanks John.

I was looking around and found you can take our test because of the state you live in.  www.ok.gov/oid/documents/Adjuster%20licensing%20checklist.pdf

You may be able to get your license from another state, then say you are a licensed adjuster.  Then you can tout that your one of the few if any in your state that is a licensed adjuster!
