BTW, If you haven't already, apply and get yourselves on the FDIC approved vendor list.  In my area, Irvine, California the FDIC just rented 20,000'sf of office space on a 5 year lease.  They're moving 600 employees into the facility to begin the process of disposing of all the REO inventory that Freddy and Fannie are going to eat.  Much like the RTC - Resolution Trust Corporation the government set up in the early 90's...

Not sure how or when any inspections will actually flow from the FDIC, but you want to be ready when and if it happens.  When the RTC was around, I did hundreds of inspections for them.  Some of the offers were so rediculously low they would have there own independent inspections just to verify condition.
