TOPIC: Do You Know What Bump Keys Are?

Oh ya one thing I did figure out about the Taurus, don't shoot the bullets and shells interchangeably.  Stick with one or the other!  The shells leave a lot of debris in the gun and when you shoot the bullet with all that gunk in there, it compresses it to the sides and makes it impossible to clean.  I had to take it in for a professional cleaning and there is still small amounts of crap in it.

But its still a fun ass gun.  You should see the looks I get when I line up with this lil o gun and fire off a loud shotgun shell from it.  Everyone steps back off the line and looks around to see whats going on!  lol   ;D

Gerry - they let you have a Bushmaster, for example, but not hand guns?  So, what do the criminals use?

The criminals carry whatever they want. Many sixteen year olds here a better armed than the police. A lot of it stolen from legal gun owners but most are smuggled from the U.S.

So, Canadian officials don't believe the bumper sticker that says:  "Gun control means only criminals will have guns" ??  How do people protect themselves in their homes?  Baseball bats and that sort of thing?  Woohoo!  Some burglar comes in with a gun, good luck...

Can you get those hunting sling shots at the sports store?  They fit over the forearm and shoot nearly 1/2" ball bearings.  They would work on an intruder.  Problem is, those are too big to hide from the kids in a clock radio gun safe beside the bed.

The worst city for carjackings in the US used to be Las Vegas.  People would come here from other countries and go to Las Vegas flush with cash.  Perfect opportunity for the predators.  They solved the problem by issuing concealed weapons permits.  An old lady got carjacked, and while the guy had his head stuck in her car window, she got a weapon out of her purse and shot him in the face.  Had a permit!  After that carjackings went down 99%.  If you don't know who can protect themselves, everyone is safer because the predators only look for weakness.  She looked weak, but wasn't.  If they can't tell who is weak they attack fewer people.

It's common sense...

The liberal and socialist parties are paranoid up here. In the past gov't formed by them victim's lost their rights. The liberals created a gun registry, where every law abiding citizen had to register their weapons or face jail time. Youth got away with murder, at sixteen they could kill one million people, rape a million women and sodomize a million children and when they turn 18 their records are expunged and you don't know he lives next door to you or working for you.

The conservative Gov't in power now is trying to reverse a lot of that but are being fought tooth and nail. They have a minority gov't so they are blocked at every turn. The opposition even formed a coalition to try and over throw them and the conservatives had to suspend parliament to stay alive.

I truly miss the old days life was much simpler and no interference in you lives by the gov't.
