Some new special alloy aluminum that is lighter, wider rungs, 4 pins instead of 2 in the lockng hinge, step through platform, handrail for stepladder formation, paint bucket, and Xtreme branding.

The old model sold for $350.  10 lbs less and same price is definitely a good deal.  Best ladder ever.

I've had the 21 ft Cosco ladder from Menards for 5+ years. If I had to buy over again, I would definitely lean towards the Little Giant. ? Yes, Cosco is a great ladder too, and ? Little Giant is more money, but it's also a few pounds lighter which over time is worth the few extra bucks; especially for as much as we use them. ? Telescope ladders have always made me a little nervous, so I have shied away from them...but that's just me
