TOPIC: Chat room

It's definitely on their end and hopefully will be resolved soon. I've been using this system for almost 10 years and rarely ever had problems. Casey, you'll see the names of who is in there on the right when someone is in the room.

Let me know if the forum seems faster now, found out that half the ram in the server was bad today and therefore not being used, argh!

Is that why the server was down this morning?

Kind of, read the other post on that. We had someone who is using computers in Russia to overload the server with page requests. Without that extra ram it made the server more vulnerable. Not much can be done when a DDOS attack is being done on a server. It's taken down ebay, paypal, and everyone else at times. Just curious as to why we were chosen as a target...

Because we inspectors are a power to be reckoned with!!!

Lou, you could?  I seem to be getting into the chat room and sometimes see names, sometimes don't...now I can't seem to get back in...I think they're getting it figured out though...
