TOPIC: Inspection cost

There are areas that can't pay me enough to go there and inspect.

The area is Glendale a nice part of town, I do have a zip code block:) I talked to the client I said $2,400 he said he had a price of $1,700 I said you get what you pay for. I am also a General Contractor for more than 40 yrs. I was born here so I know how bad some of these old building can be. I estimate rental property all the time and all I hear is fix it cheap. I asked how many SF. he said 3500, divide that by 10 very small units, I think he is just shopping $

He's also lying. There's no way 10 units totaled 3500 square feet. That's 350 square feet per unit. The smallest unit's I've seen were stacked up by the beach and a little over 400 square feet for the smallest unit (others up to 800). The 400 square feet were TINY.
