I caught no pike worth writing home about. :-[ We did some grat pics though. Once I go through them all here I will post some of the great view we had from the cabin. good to be back home though, but I am way behind on stuff now.

Where you affected by the Low pressure system that was around last week and it rained and was cool for about 4 straight days?

This is usually the time of year I am getting ready for Pike fishing. Have not gone for 3 years.

How did you handle your business while you were away?

Well, I was just over at YLH and a winner there because all are out fishing I guess.
So I might as well win here too!  ;D

David, yes the weather was terrible the first 3 days. 30 mph winds, rain and didn't get out of the 50's. The pike fishing was not so good. Got better the last 4 days and hammered a lot of good size bass, but no pike over 35.

While I was gone, I changed my voice mail recording to let people know what was up and directed them to my website. Every night I would check e mails and get messages back to potential clients. I did lose a few that I normally would have booked, but you have to take some time off every now and then. First real vacation in over 5 years, so it was worth it to me.
