Well It is kinda normal here in the chicago area to be slow with weather starting to turn and kids going back to school, but I still thought it would be a little better. I should not complain to much though, if I look back at last year this would been a good month . I guess my expectations are higher

GFCIs were first required by the NEC at various locations in and around the
home as follows:
1968 - Swimming Pool Underwater Lighting
1971 - Receptacles Near Swimming Pools
1973 - Outdoor Receptacles
1975 - Bathroom Receptacles
1978 - Garage Receptacles
1981 - Whirlpools and Tubs
1987 - Receptacles Near Kitchen Sinks
1990 - Receptacles in Unfinished Basements and Crawl Spaces
1993 - Receptacles Near Wet Bar Sinks
1996 - All Kitchen Counter-Top Receptacles
2005 - Receptacles Near Laundry and Utility Sinks.

Here is a list of dates of the GFCI Installation requirements - Depends when the local Municipal jurisdiction implemented the requirement. I have inspected many homes with receptacles Identified as being GFCI protected (sticker on plate) and they are not protected) These I write up and you'd be surprised how many newer homes in this group includes. Nobody goes behind the installers to double check the installation and if functional. It is only when the HI function checks the GFCI for operation is when this discrepancy is discovered.
