TOPIC: Why have arc fault circuits

Re: Why have arc fault circuits 15 years 6 months ago #13616

If this works there will be a picture of a outlet, a night light and whats left of a penny
One of my granddaughters slipped this penny behind the night light and the penny made contact with both prongs and the night light became a welder and cut the penny down to the size it is now
Tomorrow I will be installing arc fault breakers

I think you should write a blog about this experience and then talk about AFCI, GFCI, and breakers.  Then post it on your website.  It will make for great SEO.

I think you should tell your grand daughter that defacing public property is a crime...

Why would his house be public property?

His grand daughter damaged a penny.  That was my penny, and yours and she had no business defacing it.  A penny is not private property.
