First you will need the email that HIP sent you with the license. That will need to be on your laptop. Once you have moved it there, just download a new version onto your laptop and load the license.

Remember, this does not move your files, reports, templates or anything else. It is just a fresh version of HIP. If you want to move everything over to your laptop, use a pin drive and copy the folders inside c:/
Program Files (x86)
Home Inspector Pro. Just copy and move the folders and if you have added items to your library, move that as well.

There is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut grass on a baseball infield, the click of a wooden bat and the taste of a hot dog at a warm sunny daytime double-header.

Is there a way to sync your laptop with your desktop so your files are the same on both?

Yes, install HIP directly into a program like Dropbox or Google Drive so it's sync'd on all computers you use.

Dominic,
Specifically where is Dropbox suppose to be located? On the C: drive, a folder of its own? HIP on my laptop and desktop are not syncing.

Thanks,
Albert

By default Dropbox creates a folder in your "My Documents" section, at least if you're using Windows, but you can change the folder location to whatever or wherever you want it to be, then install HIP to that folder. Make sense?
