TOPIC: new Mac OS

I loaded Mavericks and had some issues with the MAC mail, it is slower, but not a big deal because I am going to web based mail. I think it depends on how old your system is, mine is a newer system so I don't think there were many issues. Make sure you back everything up before you upgrade.

Thanks for the info.  We run our mail system through our internet provider, and my machine is two years old.  Should be smooth.  We use Apple time capsule and time machine, so backups are done hourly.  Glad for it too, because my hard drive went down about a year ago and after it was replaced, the restoration couldn't have been smoother.

Make sure you check for System Updates on your Mac today. They released a fix for the Mail issues.
