TOPIC: Photos in HIP Mac version

I have noticed the past few times that I batch load my images to HIP for Mac, they are not in the order that I took them. Never had the issue on the PC version. I do rename them when I load them to my client folder on the Mac, but I rename them with the automator and do it in sequence. They are in order in my client folder. I have tried it both with and wthout renaming and get the same result, they are out of order. Do I need to do something different?

HIP is going to go in strict alpha order which is different than numeric order. So 1,2,11 would turn into 1,11,2. Normally files are named 001,002,011 which would stay in the correct order. How are your files numbered right now?

I name them with the client name and then just a number starting with 1. Should I try using 3 digits?

Yup, 3 digits would do it. 1 digit will cause the problem noted above. Why do you bother renaming them?

Because I am anal and in case I somehow mix up images I will know where the images came from.
