I don't know where I posted this, but I produced a tutorial on how to arrange your report pictures before you batch load them so they show up together according to their affiliation with one another and not in chronological order.
I will keep looking when I get the chance? here it is on YouTube: |

I'm just starting to research HIP and have heard alot about the batch feature and just watched David's you tube video. The whole process seems very long. I like most home inspectors for the most part do the same routine on every home so what I do is down load the pictures into a folder labeled by address then using thumbnail at the bottom of my report screen pick and import the pictures next to the comments as needed it take a few seconds per picture just seems a lot faster then have folders for each section.Or maybe I'm missing something

I use HIP and I can load and go through about 100 photos and place them in categories and place a comment in about 20 minutes. I do not put every image in the report, I already know which ones I will use when I see them in the photo section. 2 clicks per photo and comment if needed is all it takes. The images are then in place when I do the report, I can view the image and either type or dictate at the same time. it seems easy to me, but like anything else, you have to get used to it and it goes faster after you use it for awhile.
Dave is also doing an extra step, which is a user preference. He organizes his images before he loads them into HIP. That does not have to be done, but many may find it helpful. |

I may just copy Dave and do a video on my method, once I am comfortable with this MAC.
