TOPIC: New computer choice

You can decrease the resolution which enlarges fonts but it also makes things a bit fuzzy. I just spent the last 30 minutes on Google and couldn't find a good solution for something that takes 10 seconds on Windows to do. I'm really surprised!

I was surprised too! I spent a couple hours on this and "Goggling". I even went to an "Apple Store". Nada! Like you said...this is a 10 sec option in Windows.  One area that Apple missed the boat.

I found a couple of apps that 'sort' of do this but it looks like it only partially works in different programs. Let me try making font an option within HIP.

OOO...Dominic, that would be a slick option:)...funny thing, I brought this up with my brother today.  He's head of Graphic Art dept for a Chicago based firm. He laughed and said...that's Apple!...If you don't like it, use Windows (he's totally right brain). 

That reminds me (the graphic art thing triggered my memory)....You should get coffee mugs with the little green man on it! I'd buy!  FYI...I see HIP adds everywhere now...on Google, Youtube, I even think Cnet, etc.  That's a good thing!  I'm assuming it's tied to my viewing habits!  PS...no HIP on Porn sites, the largest web market of all! jk

Not sure if I know how to get around this board yet and can't find where this font size thread started so I may be missing something.  On my macbook pro if the font is too small I just hold the command key down and start hitting the "plus" key until the font is a good size. Or hold the command key down and start hitting the "Minus" key until it gets small enough.  Seems to work everywhere I need it too.

Does that work for you in HIP vern?
