TOPIC: Using Square for Accepting Credit Cards?

I've seen a few guys mention that they're using it and they look really cool. They're rates are too high, especially since you're swiping the card. I'd expect it to be about one percent lower. As it is, it's about .7% higher than the agreement we have with our users, though that will be better as it says there's no monthly charge versus the $5 on ours + $10 PCI Compliance. They don't list a PCI compliance system but that's not legal, so I'm guessing that's worked into the higher rates. Have they asked you to fill out any questionnaires on your business practices?

Their rates are cheaper than paypals. As long as there's no contract, try it out!

I have had my Square Reader for a few Months, and I love it, Customers Love it... Over all it has been a great addition to our business.
