TOPIC: PDA/LAPTOP/TABLET

It was taking me about 5 hrs plus with my old software I was using a check list "paper" on my clip board I would collect data that way, come home enter it in to my laptop then enter my pictures I shot at the inspection. So what ever the inspection time was 3 hrs norm + around 2 hours or so entering it in to the pc. Now the average  5 hours + the travel time before I could start entering data is cut down to inspection time plus 15 to 20 minutes on site adding images a quick look over of the report done time for the next one. So the time saved is substantial I have cut my time down way more than half. The big plus is my clients are happy they can see there report on site on my tablet screen or they can download it right there from a e mail attachment they also have the option of on site printed report I have a HP office jet H470 which will run on it's battery. What is a big plus for me they are getting the same report " Quality is important" that took way more hours before to complete off site we can go over any questions they may have there happy I am happy.
Now I can do more than one Inspection a day before I was stuck to scheduling only one Inspection per day before, bottom line less time doing a report = more Inspections that I can put out per day = More money.. ;D
