Thanks Dominic for all the help, and the rest of the board posts I've found very helpful. In the end, however, I found a terrific deal vrs the gtl2go. The Lenovo idea pad: 10" screen, same config. as the 2go, 3lbs. windows 7, and get this an 8 cell with 10hrs of bat. life. 499 no shipping or tax. I'll post the link if anyone is interested.
www.pcconnectionexpress.com/IPA/Shop/Pro...pncode=17-48594128-2 Thanks again Rick (it said it's ships today, same day as I bought it.) |

Nick tablet. Let us know how it works! It's the same speed and memory but has an inch larger screen (which means larger keyboard) which is nice and comes with Windows 7. Battery life looks great too. Only reason I'd still choose the CTL2go is that it's built for kids and is extremely sturdy (hard shell, handle, water resistant). This sure makes a great competing device though!

Rick, I'd like to know how HIP works on this model when you get it. Had a bad experience with a HP tablet - pencil didn't work very well. Just don't want to go through that again. Thanks

Dominic:
The reason it sold me was the bigger key board and screen--I type fast and will use this to edit my template. That and the battery life, ten hours is awsome! Tim I'll let you know. Pc conncection express has been impressive. Not only did they beat any other price by $50 they didn't charge shipping or tax. And, the other prices had a four cell bat. this was an eight. They said instock and ship the same day and that they did. It arrives Monday. I'll let you know how it works, but pc mag. rated Levono as some of the top ten netbooks and tabs.! Rick |

Dominic, If I was to stay with a tablet, so I could burn CDs, what is a good reliable unit?
Thanks |

Tim, any tablet that can burn CD's is going to add size & weight. It's best just to buy a USB external hard drive or cd burner (pretty cheap).
Rick, sounds great. There was supposed to be a 10" CTL2go out by now but I haven't seen Intel announce it yet. |
