Ok, let me think about how to best implement that.

Is it possible to allow another directory of images to be input to HIP,
for a selection, just like the batch add of photos to choose from? For a better explanation of what I'm talking about, Say I have a selection of .jpgs that I sometimes use, to add more meat to different sections of the report. For instance, if I'm showing an actual picture of the gas meter outside, along side it I'd add a "home illustrations .jpg" showing the graphic drawing of a meter with its annotated locations of things like the lockout turn on/off, the tracer wire, etc...right along with the photo. It'd be nice to be able to import an entire directory of images, kinda like the interNACHI images library of images, directly into HIP, and then be able to easily pull one of those images into a HIP report.. |

Steven, you could put all your diagrams in a single folder, then do a second batch add (after your inspection photos). You can actually do as many batch adds as you want.

Hey Dom my idea is regarding the information on the "Client Information" the areas below Real Estate agent I would like to see as editable. So in other words lets say I don't ever put the "inspection fee" on a report, it would be cool if I could edit the "inspection fee" name to be anything else,....like ....well I cant think of it right now ;D but just making those fields editable.

One more idea for the photo section.
I would love to have the ability to switch between solid lines, circles & ovals and dashed lines, circles, ovals, etc. Right now I make dashed annotations all the time just using the line function, but it is tedious. I use the dashed annotations to show where some component is supposed to go or designate a very specific area which can't just be selected with a circle or square. It would greatly speed up my photo editing at times. |
