The problem is that I'd have to either add a visible button (which takes up screen space), are add a link to the home when you click on the Menu icon. That would take two clicks and is the same as clicking back twice. Which is better?

Dom even something where we could click like crazy and not leave the app would help.
click click click are you sure you wish to exit is a common bubble on many apps. That alone would help. Make leaving a conscious decision. I see what you are saying about extra button screen space so maybe my above idea would help. |

I did not realise that you had major upgrades as you used to announce previous uggrades on the Forum including fixes and minor upgrades to the current version of software. Maybe I just missed these announcements. I would also agree with Bob I find that I also end up out of the app away more often then I want to, as I click on the return button (numerous times) to return to a new section. |

Major upgrades of the desktop app have emails sent. Since mobile has automatic updates through the app store I haven't been sending them.
We could definitely catch the final exit attempt and ask if you're "sure." I'll put that on the to-do list. |

First and foremost, thank you Dominick and all the HIP programmers for the update. I really like having the Ratings section first - it saves a lot of scrolling. And, the graying of the tabs and sections is wonderful. Makes it very easy to know if I have touched everything.
Here is my experience with the latest Mobile version. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, which is running Android version 4.1.1. I am running HIP 3.5.1 on my PC. 1. When I start HIP Mobile, I get a window that states "Restart Required - An application restart is required". I can click on the Continue button and it will restart and work. 2. My process is to download my template, create a new inspection, go to the Client info and enter the last name and the weather and then go to the Inspect section. Occasionally, I get a message when I go to the Inspect section that there is no valid template. I can restart the tablet and it works fine. It appears that if I go the Inspect section first, then the Client Info and back to Inspect, it works fine. 3. Lists work but end up dead on the PC. I assume that will be corrected in an PC update. 4. Changes to items are always made to the template, but they may also be corrected with a PC update. 5. Ratings do not get colored when they are chosen. I realize that a check mark is added but it is hard to see. Coloring the rating would make it easier. Thanks for all you do. |
