TOPIC: Home Inspector Pro 3.0.5 Released!

Re: Home Inspector Pro 3.0.5 Released! 13 years 1 day ago #45092

Dominic,

Having problems with version 3.0.5 for OSX on 10.7.2. The Save dialog box is taking a LONG time to populate and then when I try to save an inspection after the initial save, the program crashes. I have tried multiple times with new and existing data files.

David,

The page & item drop down boxes should match the other you have things listed in the report. So if the cabinets are the first thing in the kitchen they will be the first listed in the kitchen item drop down box too.

I did notice the you can't scroll down with the keyboard now, I'll look into that some more as well a way to expand the caption box.

Julian, can you click on Live Chat when you get a chance so we can do a remote session? If it's not enabled, check back a bit later as I might run out to get some food. The new native dialog boxes are causing some issues on some Mac's and I'm trying to narrow it down. We've had no problems with it on Windows.

My old e-mail address had disappeared so I just changed it on my profile.  Was the link to version 3 already e-mailed?  If so, could you post it again or email it to me please.  Much appreciated! :)

I started a live report with MAC version 3, which I know that I shouldn't have, but I got the client info in o.k. and was loading the pictures (batch) the old way because I do not know how to do it yet and Dom is working on some issue with that.  I seen that I had to add another photo so I selected Add photo, scrolled to the directory that the photo was in and waited for some time for the list of photos to show up.  Finally when they showed up, I selected the one that I wanted and POOF, the whole program crashed.  Well, like a dummy, I had not first saved my report, so of course it went to the great wherever.  I decided to go back and work on my report in V2.9.  I have no idea what happened, but I do not have time to see if it does it again at this time in that I have a report to get done and release.  I wonder if it is LION???
