I split it because I wasn't paying enough attention and thought you posted the Lists question in the Master New Feature list thread. Looks like you found the new topic already.

Now how do I use drop downs?
How do I create etc???

I guess since this is a Beta, no tutorial yet???

Just went back and saw some tutorials and man are they helpful!!!
Thanks! Now I am going to try to install HIP on both my laptop and Server...
When the bookkeeper or my wife is on my main computer I can't work because I never got it correct...

What an asset having "my own" expert... Some other HI scream about their software... I keep saying HIP is the BEST!!!!!

Click on the Program Questions section here on the message boards and then check out the Lists tutorial.

Tutorials are great, especially after you understand the program basics as you can pick up info easier.

Hey guys--

I'm getting back into it after about a year hiatus (retirement is not all it's cracked up to be--especially the part about fixed income!), so I'll start bothering you all over again with mostly novice stuff as I catch up.  Other than some of the obvious uses for the new drop-downs (like <<LOC>>, <<MFGR>>, and the like, which are much-needed and welcome features (Thanks, Dom) I'm curious how you guys envision using them.  I'll go back and modify my comments lists (no small task) to incorporate the new features, so it would be nice to see if you seasoned veterans have found some novel ways to use the drop-downs before I start. Thanks in advance for your input.  DrBob
