This has been brought up a few times. When we had this feature a long time ago people complained that it was an extra click. It's also somewhat unnecessary as you could just open up your last inspection and click Save Template and it will achieve the same thing. Since there's been a few guys asking for this again, if a few more want it, I'll add it in as an option. I don't want to add in so many options the program overloads new users when they are looking at it, so speak up if you'd like this.

Never thought about opening the last inspection as a "back-up".
Anyone ever tell you you're one smart dude? |

Aww shucks. That was one of the best parts of embedded the template into the inspection file. You can transfer it to another computer or recover a template as a backup easily.

You mean that I can open up a report that I did last week or last month and save the t-plate? I forget to save my t-plates all the time. This will help.

Gary,
I had to do this once because I ran into a real dump and added lots of conditions I had not run into before. Like an idiot I forgot to save the template.(can't tell you how many times I forget) The very next inspection was almost a repeat home and when I started the report I saw I had forgotten to save all the additions. I remembered that if I opened the last report and save template it would all be there. Saved me about an hour of typing. |
