It would look like.....
Roofing Condition Observations.. 1. Roof damage present 2. Torn flashing around plumbing vent 3. Needs to be properly flashed. 4. Mising shingles. 1. 2 picture picture 3. picture and so on... I hope that makes since//////////.......?????????????? Then there would be no need for typing a caption, as it would already be in your templates. This would eliminate some clicks, and typing. Or you could have another box with the "red comments" and "black comments" boxes that would be Photos and they could be put in order. Maybe that doesnt make sense? |

Thanks for the details
I see what you're saying. This would work much better when I get the feature done that allows you to view the photos for each section, at the bottom of the section (like a film strip). As then you'd be able to see the photos and comment on them at the same time. The only issue I would see is that you'd probably want to put (see photo 1) or something instead of just numbering as you might have 3 comments on one pic and it might confuse people if they see 1. comment 1. comment 1. comment 2. comment 3. comment |

I see what you are saying about the numbering. I have been putting a comment then under it would be a "bullet" and the word "and" then another line with the next comment. I am trying to get the best way to be able to place the comments with the pictures under , without typing a caption.. Usually with the arrows they are self explanatory, unless like you said there are multiple comments for one photo.
In the film strip how many would be accross? Will this be instead of the regular sized photos, or in addition to those photos. Not sure I am following? |

My plan right now is to add a feature that you do your bulk import and set the sections the belong in like you do now. Then when you go to a particular section like Bathroom->Cabinets you would see those photos at the bottom (within the program) so that you can see the pics while you work on your comments. This doesn't affect the report itself in any way.

I see what you are saying Dom
I always do a caption then click to the comment section as I go. But you are thinking put comments on all the photos then go to comments and see thumb nails to remind you as you go. Is this what I am getting? |
