We were discussing this in another thread: "THERE WILL BE A $50.00 CANCELLATION FEE IF INSPECTION IS CANCELLED WITH LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE."

How has that worked out for you?

Dominic, fortunately I have not had to experience a cancellation yet within that time frame. To be honest with you I think I should raise it to $100.00. Like I said though I have not yet had to worry about it. What is your opinion on the fee? Good, bad, unreasonable.

It's a good idea in concept. The worry of the guys that opposed it is that it might scare some people away from using you versus another inspector who doesn't have this deal. But if you're books are full no matter what then it doesn't matter!

I guess I can think about it a little bit more. The concept came from another inspector I know here in this area. I may take it off and see if I notice any changes in business. It doesnt seem to have any adverse effects on business as of yet but I still may make the change and see what happens.
